More than 250 Tigers in Corbett Tiger reserve
The fourth annual Tiger count exercise was conducted in Corbett Tiger reserve between November 2019 to February 2020 and the results were above expectation. Current count shows around 250+ Tigers at Corbett Tiger reserve and it makes the possibility even higher to sight a Tiger now for the tourists.
There are many Tiger reserves in India and famous ones are Ranthambore Tiger reserve, Bandhavgarh national park, Kanha national park which are also famous for Royal Bengal Tigers amongst tourists but the population of Tiger is less than what we see in Corbett. Recently for this excercise more than 7000 cameras were installed at different-2 areas in the reserve.

The Corbett Tiger reserve is open from Tourists from 15th October until 14th of June every year and Corbett national park has been witnessing the increased tourist count every year because of its vast population of big cats.
Notably as per the government reports in 2018, there are around more then 450 Tigers in the Uttarakhand state and 2nd most popular Tiger reserve in the state is Rajaji national park which is spread over Dehradun & Haridwar districts.
